The MTN STICK

How much weight can your pole hold?

The MTN STICK is engineered to support up to 40 lbs of gear. This makes it ideal for heavy-duty applications like holding a full-size spotting scope for glassing, supporting a camera rig for wildlife photography, or even serving as a structural tent pole. It’s built with premium carbon fiber and precision-machined aluminum hubs to handle the weight without breaking.

Yes. The MTN STICK is widely used by backcountry hunters as a stable platform for spotting scopes and binoculars. Its modular design allows you to attach various mounts (your own or ours) that secure your gear firmly, providing a steady glassing platform even in windy conditions at high altitudes.

The MTN STICK features a patented nesting design that collapses into a compact 38-inch length, making it easy to stash in a pack side pocket or gear bag. When is is further taken apart it condenses down to 28″.

17.5 oz — about the weight of a water bottle. Similar trekking poles alone weigh 16+ oz; you’re adding tripod and tent pole function for an extra 1.5 oz.

We design around a single pole — simpler, lighter, balanced on uneven ground. Want stability? One MTN STICK is enough; your free hand stays free for balance or binos. If you want a traditional two-pole hike, grab the Companion Pole for additional utility.

SHELTERS - Helo 3 - Bivouac 1.5

Is the tent floored?

Yes. The Helo 3 and the Bivouac 1.5 features a full bathtub floor—not just a thin ground cloth. This design keeps you dry in wet conditions and provides an extra barrier against critters and cold ground, which is essential for comfort during multi-day backcountry trips.

First time feels different — it’s not the tent you’ve used for years. On your third setup you’re faster than your old tent. We highly recommend you set it up at home at least twice and you’ll be good to go.

Yes — 4500mm hydrostatic head rating is higher than most tents on the market. Paired with 15D ripstop nylon, it handles heavy weather. Additionally: Seal the seams with silicone-based seam sealer, just like you’d do with any high-end tent. Use something like THIS

Yes — the MTN STICK poles pop out of the tent structure. Your shelter stays pitched and your gear stays dry while you scout or glass nearby. Pop them back in when you return.

The MTN STICK works with CMT shelters (Helium, Helo, Bivouac systems). Standard trekking poles or other shelters mount differently and aren’t compatible.

Works with any trekking-pole shelter that uses standard 18mm diameter poles. Traditional dome tents with built-in hoops aren’t compatible — they need proprietary poles. If your tent manual says “use trekking poles,” you’re good.

The MMD

What is the MMD used for?

The Micro Motion Device is a precision pan-tilt tripod head used primarily by hunters glassing for game, long-range shooters identifying targets, and outdoor filmmakers tracking moving subjects. It replaces standard ball heads with a dedicated dual-knob system designed specifically for optics mounting and smooth micro-adjustments in the field.

Unlike a ball head that requires you to loosen tension and reposition by hand, the MMD’s dual-knob system lets you make smooth, controlled adjustments without releasing any locks. This means your tripod stays planted while you pan and tilt with surgical precision — critical when glassing for game or tracking moving wildlife on camera. It also can be placed on top of a ball head to optimize macro and micro movements.

Yes — the MMD is built with universal compatibility. It mounts to any standard 1/4″-20 or threaded tripod socket, which covers virtually all consumer and prosumer tripods on the market today. It works with carbon fiber travel tripods, heavy-duty field tripods, and vehicle-mounted platforms alike
